2018 was the year when I learned to Silversmith and my love for architecture just found this new way of manifestation. I studied Jewelry Design at Assamblage School of Contemporary Jewelry, and it was an amazing learning experience where I got to practice traditional handcrafting techniques of working with Silver and Precious Stones.
The time spent working with my hands and use fire and hammer blows to bend and weld extremely precious and sometimes very delicate pieces is a time that has colossal energy value. This experience of imagining, drawing, planning each step and then crafting, seeing the volume taking shape, feeling its weight, and pair it with one body is priceless, like a sacred procession.
I greatly cherish this very meticulous and precise opportunity of creating wearable art, playing with very sharp geometry, organic volumes, and material collages. I am hooked by the adrenaline of using fire not a second more than necessary, and the tremendous satisfaction of seeing the final piece complimenting someone's personality.
